This southern California juice bar is expanding in Charlotte.
Nékter Juice Bar plans to open its third location here this fall.
Plans call for a nearly 1,300-square-foot location in the Strawberry Hill shopping center in south Charlotte.
Part of that center is currently being redeveloped to add an additional 36,000 square feet of retail space. It is owned by Marsh Properties.
Nékter Juice Bar offers freshly made juice, smoothies and cold pressed juice cleanses. There are six fresh juice options and seven smoothies that can be customized.
It also has five signature acai bowls with toppings such as fresh fruit or hemp-seed granola.
Nékter also offers Skoop, a frozen treat with a gelato-like texture. Flavors will rotate seasonally.
Dr. Todd Engel is the Nékter franchisee for the Carolinas. He recently opened locations in Charlotte’s South End and in Cornelius.
Kivett Williams of MPV represents Nékter Juice Bar in the Carolinas.
Keely Hines of MPV represented the landlord for the Strawberry Hill deal.
